Terms and Conditions for UltiBudget
Effective Date: May 30, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of UltiBudget. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use UltiBudget.
About UltiBudget
UltiBudget is a personal budgeting, receipt, mileage, and workspace management app. It is provided for personal organization and recordkeeping only.
UltiBudget does not provide financial, tax, accounting, legal, investment, insurance, or banking advice. You are responsible for reviewing your own records, reports, mileage logs, deductions, filings, and financial decisions.
Your Data and Responsibility
You are responsible for the information you enter, scan, import, export, share, or sync through UltiBudget.
This may include accounts, transactions, budgets, bills, receipts, bank alert text, merchant names, mileage records, vehicle records, workspace data, notes, and imported files.
You agree that you have the right to use the information you provide and that your use of UltiBudget will comply with applicable laws and third-party terms.
You are responsible for preserving copies and backups of records that are important to you. UltiBudget is not a substitute for your own financial, tax, accounting, mileage, receipt, or business recordkeeping system.
Accuracy of App Features
UltiBudget may include automation, receipt scanning, OCR, prediction, extraction, matching, bank alert processing, trip detection, and mileage features.
These features may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, duplicated, or mismatched. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting suggested or automatically created records before relying on them.
Mileage, route, receipt, transaction, budget, and report data are not guaranteed to be accurate and should be reviewed before tax, reimbursement, business, or financial use.
You agree not to rely solely on UltiBudget for tax filings, reimbursement requests, business deductions, financial decisions, bill payment decisions, account reconciliation, or legal compliance. You should verify records against original receipts, account statements, odometer readings, maps, invoices, tax documents, or other authoritative sources where accuracy matters.
iCloud Sync and Shared Workspaces
UltiBudget may store data locally on your device and may use Apple iCloud/CloudKit for private sync and shared workspaces.
iCloud sync and sharing depend on Apple services, your Apple ID, device settings, network availability, iCloud storage, and system behavior outside UltiBudget’s control. Sync may be delayed, unavailable, interrupted, duplicated, conflicted, or incomplete.
If you create or join a shared workspace, workspace data may be visible to invited participants or other users with access to the share. Depending on permissions, participants may view, edit, add, or delete shared records. You are responsible for deciding whom to invite and what information to share.
Imports, Exports, and Backups
UltiBudget may allow you to import CSV, text, UltiBudget store, or other supported files. Imports may create, merge, duplicate, alter, or fail to import records.
UltiBudget may also allow exports, backups, reports, PDFs, CSVs, receipts, or other files. Once exported or shared, those files are controlled by you and the destination app, service, or recipient.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups. No storage, sync, import, export, or backup system is guaranteed.
UltiBudget and its developer are not responsible for data loss, corruption, accidental deletion, failed imports, failed exports, failed backups, sync conflicts, device loss, iCloud account issues, Apple service behavior, permission changes, app updates, operating system updates, or user actions.
Permissions and Apple Services
Some features may require access to camera, location, motion, notifications, Live Activities, Apple Maps, MapKit, geocoding, Shortcuts, Files, Mail, Messages, iCloud, or other Apple services.
You can grant, deny, or revoke permissions through iOS settings. If permissions are denied or revoked, related features may not work.
Apple services are controlled by Apple and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Purchases and Subscriptions
UltiBudget may offer paid features, subscriptions, or premium access through Apple StoreKit.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment, refund, cancellation, and subscription rules. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
Unless otherwise stated in the App Store purchase flow, subscriptions may renew automatically through Apple until canceled. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal but does not necessarily refund the current billing period. Refund requests must be handled through Apple.
Prices, features, and availability may change.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse UltiBudget. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, overload, exploit, disrupt, resell, or use the app for unlawful purposes.
You may not use UltiBudget to store, transmit, or share data that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.
App Availability and Changes
UltiBudget is provided “as is” and “as available.” Features may change, break, be removed, require updates, or depend on Apple services, iOS versions, device capabilities, iCloud settings, or an active subscription.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, UltiBudget makes no warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, UltiBudget and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. This includes lost data, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost records, inaccurate reports, missed deductions, tax errors, penalties, interest, reimbursement denials, account errors, sync failures, import errors, export errors, backup errors, subscription issues, or decisions made based on app data. UltiBudget and its developer are not responsible for missing, lost, incomplete, duplicated, corrupted, delayed, or inaccurate records or data, including records affected by sync, import, export, backup, device, iCloud, permissions, software errors, software bugs, Apple services, third-party services, or user actions.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, any total liability of UltiBudget or its developer arising out of or related to the app will be limited to the amount you paid for UltiBudget in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $10 if you paid nothing during that period.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with UltiBudget is to stop using the app.
Privacy
UltiBudget’s handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
By using UltiBudget, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
Updates to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updated Terms will be made available in the app or on the UltiBudget website.
Continued use of UltiBudget after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
General Terms
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
