Less typing
Receipt scanning helps fill in the boring parts while still letting you review the details before saving.
Receipt Scanner
Scan a receipt, let UltiBudget pull out useful details, then review the merchant, amount, date, account, and transaction type before saving.
Review-first saving. Receipt records stay attached.
How It Works
Fast enough for daily use. Detailed enough for real records. Private enough to respect your financial life.
From Accounts, Transactions, or Receipts, tap the floating camera button when you are ready to scan.
The scanner captures the receipt image, then UltiBudget shows a Processing Receipt state while text recognition runs.
UltiBudget can prefill merchant, account, amount, date, and amount alternatives. You stay in control and can edit before saving.
The scanned receipt can become a transaction with the receipt image attached, so the record and proof stay together.
Open the Receipts tab to browse receipt thumbnails, view receipts full-screen, share them, open the linked transaction, or delete records you no longer need.
Why It Matters
Receipt scanning helps fill in the boring parts while still letting you review the details before saving.
The receipt image can stay attached to the transaction so the record and supporting document live together.
A receipt grid and full-screen viewer make older receipts easier to find when you need to check one later.
